This group of pages allows you to find and get useful books delivered quickly. On most titles with direct links VolResource will get a small commission, which helps to keep this site going , but we won't list books just for that reason - they do have to be relevant!

Amazon
Our links to books which can be bought via Amazon.co.uk are generally restricted to titles which are a) relevant and b) shouldn't take for ever to be delivered. However, we have added some which take longer to come into stock (shoudl carry the symbol ~~ to indicate this). These may attract the £1-99 plus VAT 'sourcing fee' charge, especially DSC titles, but on the other hand you could incur higher p&p charges if ordering direct from the publisher.

Directory of Social Change
Directory of Social Change publishes a wide range of titles specifically for the voluntary sector, and stocks relevant books from other publishers to make the selection even more comprehensive.
If you can't pay with order, DSC charge £2 for supplying an invoice on a minimum order value of £50. Postage and packing rates start (Jan 05) at £2.75, depending on order value.
Note that cover prices were increased across the board in January 2006 - we may not have updated all titles.

Discounts
Non-profits with an annual income of less than £60,000 or $100,000 (or equivalent) pay 50% of the full advertised price of the book (plus P&P). Any purchase of 2 or more Chapel & York books at full price attracts a 25% discount (plus P&P). Associate members get an additional 10% discount.

Within the UK: £3.00 for first book, £2.00 for each additional book.
